“Jaleo” significa alboroto, desorden, confusión, pero también diversión, vida y lucha. Estas ilustraciones rinden homenaje a la forma de hablar, de crear y de ser de los andaluces y andaluzas, que estamos construyendo una barricada desde la que reivindicar nuestras raíces. Una barricada hecha de sillas, claro. Porque por fin, Andalucía se está levantando.

«Jaleo» means noise, mess, row, but also good times, shouting, clapping and fighting. These drawings pay tribute to flamenco music and the people from Andalusia, who are laying claim to their own cultural roots with pride. At last, Andalucia is rising up.
